HW 3/24 and 3/25

Read To Kill a Mockingbird chapters 13 and 14

With at least one properly cited integrated quote per chapter, answer the following analytic questions:

chapter 13:
Aunt Alexandra arrives in Maycomb as the trial approaches to be a proper role model for Scout and Jem, along with establishing "What Is Best For the Family" (129).  How does she do as a role model?  When she forces Atticus to scold his children, does that help or hinder her project to make the kids into the "products of several generations of gentle breeding" (133)?

chapter 14:
How is Atticus's statement--"From rape to riot to runaways"--an accurate summary of this chapter?  How is Scout at the center of each element of that statement?
