Read To Kill a Mockingbird chapter 15 and 16:
Answer each chapter question 1/2 page including 1 well-integrated quote per question:

Chapter 15:
Compare how the children respond to and interact with the gathering of men on pages 145-146 in front of the Finch's home to the gathering of the "Old Sarum bunch" in front of the jail on pp. 152-154.  For the group at the jail, why does Scout's intervention turn the men--a potential lynch mob-- away?

Chapter 16:
Why does Dolphus Raymond “drink”?  What aspect of the town culture does his life reflect?
